I have a complaint about axis bank branch, connaught place, p block ( new delhi) . I had gone to this branch on 19/12/2016 for depositing my old currency notes. I had my university exams till 19 th of December because of which I could not deposit the money earlier. At the bank, I was told that my pan card and phone number was not updated to my account. The phone number registered was that of reliance mobile which is out of use now and hence does not work. So, I had submitted the form for updating my pan card and phone number along with the self attested photocopy of my pan card in the same branch I.e. in axis bank, connaught place branch ( P block), New Delhi on the very day I.e. 19/12/2016. I was verbally assured that it would be updated within 48 hours by a staff member but it has not been updated till date. A lot of inconvenience has been caused to me because of this. Since my vacation had started from the next day I.e. 20 th of December and my tickets had been booked earlier, I was out of Delhi and could not go to the bank again. Despite being assured that the update of my pan card and phone number would be done, I has not been updated even after a lapse of 96 hours. Ultimately I had to deposit the amount in my father’s account in some other bank.
