Complaint Details:

I have purchased the new car – VW polo Diesel on 25th June 2014 from Hubli show room.

The vehicle has been getting serviced from Hubli service centre as per the schedule from last 4 years.

Recently, I have observed that there is warning signal with engine symbol appearing in dashboard. When I discussed the same with the expert at Hubli service centre, I was informed that there is a problem in EGR valve which is to replaced and it costs Rs.45000.

As per my verbal communication I had with expert at Hubli service centre, this problem is common in VW cars.

Why I have to bear the expense of Rs.45000 to replace a spare part when there is fault in VW supply. I have never heard this type of problem in other make, Maruti, Hyundai & Toyota cars.

Please replace the EGR valve spare part. Hope I receive a positive reply from VW team.
