Complaint Details:
Had renewed my car insurance policy 2 weeks before expiry as Chowgule insurance kept on calling to inquire about my renewal. The policy was renewed in December and now it’s January almost mid and till date I didn’t receive a copy nor a cover letter for my car insurance which I had renewed with Chowgule insurance Fatorda Goa. Upon checking with them on phone I was told that the policy has already been sent by post but until now I didn’t receive any. Surprising that postal services in India take months to deliver letters. Kindly requesting to look in this matter ASAP.

R/S, I want to tell you about a fraudulent website www.smsincome.in owned by FOCUS INDIA MARKETING residing at Focus India Marketing, 3rd Lane, Circular Road Adjoining Dr. Somani Clinic, Abohar-152116 (Punjab). Their membership fee is Rs.1525/ – which is refundable as told by the company over the telephone line. If a person makes an account there, nothing is mentioned there about activation fee. A person comes to know about the activation fee only after making an ID there. They are offering Rs.5/- per message. They provide 100 messages on daily basis & convince the users to earn around Rs.10000-15000 from those messages in a month. But after joining they told me that if you want to withdraw that adverstiment income you have to give us a referral in your direct line & he must be active, only then you can withdraw Rs.500 from that income. The process goes on. So what I have to do if I have to earn money from this concept. I have to join more & more people for withdrawing that income. Next thing is that when I joined a person in my direct line. I make the request of withdrawal of Rs.500/- from my income. You know what I get is Only Rs.350 out of that. They deduct 30% of your earned income & you know of what [10% TDS which in normally 2%, 10% Admin charges which is also normally 2%, 10% E-Wallet, don’t know what is that of]. Nothing is mentioned about this deduction before joining the website. Nobody deducts 30% of the income. They also provide SMS sending income that is 25 paise per message. They do not provide you the mobile numbers on which we have to send the messages. And if anybody sends the messages on 1000-2000 mobile numbers they BLOCK his/her ID by giving some stupid reason. Overall conclusion is that they do not want to pay people for their hard work. If anyone argues with them, they BLOCK their ID’s instantly. If anybody asks for their registration fee Rs.1525/- which is refundable according to them they BLOCK their mobile numbers too & don’t pick their calls & use abusive language on call. I created two ID’s on this website k003449, k003752. This is because they said if you create more ID’s & work from your last ID you will get more benefit. So I created them. Now I send messages from my last ID k003752. I started getting good income by sending messages. But they do not want to pay me that. So they give a stupid excuse that the mobile numbers were CDMA and took rs. 3400 as a penalty . That too in not mentioned anywhere. Also they pay 25 paise for every successful message & when it comes to deduction they deduct 50 paise for every FAIL message. Now they BLOCKED my all the two ID’s k003449 and k003752 without any reason . When I asked them to please UNBLOCK they didn’t pick my call. Instead of paying me my hard earned income they are demanding penalty charges from me. Also when I asked them to refund my registration fee which is total Rs.3050/- of two ID’s they told me that do whatever you want we will not refund your money Sir, please help me out & take strict action on this website & person who is fooling the people & looting their hard earned money. Please help me to get my Registration fee back. I will be thankful to you for this. Also make a permanent ban on the website or tell them to make changes on their website & mention everything before joining a person. I am mentioning their address & complete contact details below. WEBSITE: www.smsincome.in OFFICE ADDRESS: Focus India Marketing, 3rd Lane, Circular Road Adjoining Dr. Somani Clinic, Abohar-152116 (Punjab) Phone: 09888345657 Fax: 01634-500096 MOBILE NUMBER OF MD: 0988345657, 09653369000 [Mr.VARUN] Other Contact Numbers: 07696501122, 09041491094, 09803441122

Scam or fraud: Jet Airways — Lost baggage more than 20 days- Lousy customer service

Submitted by: Sanchita Lobo

Complaint Details:
Inspite of writing to even the CEO I have no response and no bag.

Dear Mr. Amit Agarwal

I hope you will allow me to take up five minutes out of your very busy schedule to voice some customer feedback. I know this maybe a small issue for you, but for us the customer, this was a big issue and has clouded our whole Jet Airways experience. I am writing to you as a last resort, trusting you and your team at Jet Airways will respond and try and make this right in whatever way possible. The ball is in your court now Mr. Agarwal. We hope you will welcome us back into the fold of satisfied Jet customers.

We travelled on the 14th of December Rome-Abu Dhabi-Mangalore by Etihad Jet alliance. When we reached Mangalore, one of our suitcases did not arrive. Unfortunately this was the suitcase of one of our four kids and so added to our frustration, was the extreme disappointment of the child who foresaw a holiday sans their best clothes (which included clothes for Christmas and weddings we were to attend).

Of course the usual report was made at Mangalore airport and then began a daily follow up by me. After two days, when I called they informed me that the bag had been located in Manila. It had inadvertently been sent from Abu Dhabi to Manila. Since it had been located, I was assured that within a day or two the bag would be rerouted and arrive in Mangalore. This did not happen. After a few days I was told the bag had reached Abu Dhabi at least, but again apparently this was a miscommunication and the bag was indeed still in Manila. 22 days have now passed, we are back in Rome and the bag is still in Manila; and I have no communication from your side as to anything. I was last made to understand that the bag would be declared lost and I would hear from the baggage claims division as to the compensation. However- so far nothing, and as you might have guessed I am one very disappointed customer and as a very frequent international traveler, I must add that we have never experienced these levels of poor service from any airline ever.

Let me add here, that whenever I spoke to or met the staff at Jet Airways Mangalore including your station Manager Mr. Hyder they were polite and tried to be helpful. However that was when I initiated contact, which was every day and even included hounding the station manager at the airport itself. I would have expected a higher level of service, where jet airways regularly updated me on the status of the bag and escalated the issue to the point of ensuring the bag did reach us.

I cannot understand why a lost bag that was located, was not on priority rerouted to the passenger. There seems to be a larger issue here, that hopefully you as senior management will address. More importantly the lack of service quality must be addressed. We travel Jet airways often and as expats working for the United Nations are proud to tell everyone that Jet is the best airline in India. Hence it is all the more disheartening to have had this experience.

We do hope you can help us. Not only do we hope to receive the compensation due at the earliest, but since the bag has been located, we would still very much like to have the bag delivered to us (now to our home in Rome of which details have been given).

Thank you for your time and look forward to hearing from you at the earliest.

Regards,

Gerard Rebello
